Do you know where these spots are? The Clear Creek Watershed
Clear Creek is a major tributary of the Carson River. It originates between Duane Bliss Peak and Snow Valley Peak. Descending nearly 5000 feet, it flows into the Carson Valley just south of Highway 50. The Clear Creek watershed is 18.76 miČ and consists mostly of unstable, quickly eroding granites. The ownership of the land within the watershed is 49% federal, 32% private, 12% state, and 4% tribal.
